Trustees of Reservations


Since 1891, the Trustees of Reservations has been saving the Massachusetts landscape for people to enjoy. Their conservation work has helped protect more than 52,000 acres across the state.



Mass Audoubon


Massachusetts Audubon Society is the largest conservation organization in New England. They protects over 30,000 acres of conservation land, conduct educational programs for 250,000 people annually, and advocate for sound environmental policies.



MassWoods goal is to provide accurate information to woodland owners when they need to make two critical decisions: 1) the potential sale of timber and 2) planning for the future of the property.



The White Oak Land Conservation Society was founded in 1978 to preserve land in Holden. They acquire land by donation or purchase, or preserve land by holding the right to development.



East Quabbin Land Trust


The East Quabbin Land Trust (EQLT) began in 1994 because of concern for the loss of farmland and wildlife habitat to unplanned sprawl in and around Hardwick. The Land Trust has been able to protect over 1500 acres.

The Land Trust Alliance


LTA is the national convener, strategist and representative of more than 1,300 land trusts across America. They provide trainings, publications, lobbying services, and strategic planning to help leverage and connect the work of member land trusts.
